Until this movie, I did not know how William Wilberforce and his friends stopped slave trade in England. As an American, I have only heard so much about Abraham Lincoln freeing the slaves in America. Quite enlighting and moving! Particular, in this time of our first Black American President-Elect. - Patti, Lawrenceville, United States

I have seen the movie twice (and will watch again very soon) and remember thinking what a noble cause and how dedicated they were, all of them, but especially William. This past weekend (12/05/08) I attended a benefit concert for Love146, and I know that things will never be the same. Ending slavery is a cause worth fighting for, and coming to realize how prevelant it is today is stunning and live-changing. I'm not sure how to go about it, but am fully convinced that "His grace will lead me...on!" - Christina, Copiague, United States

Through tears and applause I watched William Wilberforce and his colleagues end the slave trade in the British empire. This movie has inspired me not only to work toward helping to free those 27 million slaves held round the world today but has caused me to realize that there are opportunities all round me to make the world a better place. One person working with one more peron, working with one more person . . . can make a difference. This film is and will be a favorite, if not THE favorite in my collection until God calls me home by His Amazing Grace. - Stacey, Lodi, United States
